Amber Alert

NEMA helps administer the State of Nebraska Emergency Alert System, under the direction of Mr. Vern Killion, Chief Engineer, KRVN Radio (Lexington, Nebraska) and state EAS chairperson. The EAS is an emergency alert notification system for all broadcasters and cable systems in the State to alert persons in Nebraska of potential disasters, or other safety threats. In addition, EAS is one several means of notification for Amber Alert information.
